My dear friends Yee Cheng and Jiin Joo got hitched last weekend on Malaysia Day! It’s a pity I couldn’t be part of their wedding celebration in Malaysia.

Nevertheless, I am honoured to be able to document their pre-wedding months before. It was an adventurous day to say the least. The uninvited morning shower greeted us as we stepped out of cars, ready to catch the morning sun in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Bummer. The second downpour halted us as we were at the Marina Barrage outdoor area. But none of these dampened our mood as we continued our journey, especially the ever-bubbly Yee Cheng. We meandered through the Esplanade, revisited the Hwa Chong Junior College (the common school for the three of us) and finished off the day with a magical evening of wonderful light at the Upper Seletar Reservoir.

Of course, my wife Jovie Tan of TheLittleBrush Makeup did the hair and and makeup for the day.
